There are many sign posts that help us to discern the times we are in. In Matthew 16:1-3 Jesus rebuked the religious leaders of His day for being able to discern the appearance of the sky but could not discern the signs of the times. In Luke 19:41-44 Jesus pronounces a curse on Israel “because you did not recognize the time of your visitation”.
Even though they had all the Old Testament prophecies of their promised Messiah, which He so amazingly fulfilled when He came, they missed Him because they had a mindset of how they thought their King would come, but He came in a different form. Are we in the same danger today? Do we have mindsets that do actually not line up with scripture? I pray that the Lord would give us “a Spirit of wisdom and revelation” (Ephesians 1:17) to help us discern the times we live in with understanding as to what to do.
For the last couple of years I felt drawn to gain understanding of the feasts of Israel, but personally felt it to be a topic I could not understand and therefore pushed it off. Last year I felt drawn to it again and with some of the teachings that Katharine and I heard through Paul Keith Davis, Katharine and I both felt it was of the Lord and therefore I began to seek understanding. So I want to start sharing with you some of the things I believe the Lord has taught me, and pray that it will be spiritual food to the reader, as well as help to understand where we are at in God’s time table.
The Prophet Joel declared that there would be signs in the heavens
Joel 2:31-32 “The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Will be delivered; For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem There will be those who escape, as the Lord has said, Even among the survivors whom the Lord calls. NASU
When Jesus came
There was a solar eclipse and an earthquake when Jesus died on the cross, an earthquake at the resurrection and according to the writings of Josephus there was also a blood moon at the time of His resurrection. Jesus death and resurrection took place during the feast of Passover according to the Old Testament.
Jesus declared that the Sun, moon and stars would give signs before His second coming
Luke 21: 25-28 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. NASB
Most of what Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:1-40 and Luke 19:41-44 has already happened, although often the prophetic word has dual fulfillments. We know that the Temple was destroyed around 70AD and as Jesus prophesied that not one stone would be left upon another, which literally happened. Many, many Jews were martyred and in 135AD Israel no longer existed as a nation! Those that were left were dispersed in other nations.
Here are the significant signs in the heavens that took place three times over a period of about 500 years, the eclipses and the four blood moons. Here is in short what happened at each of them.
In 1492 Israel was given 14 days to leave Spain. Thousands were killed and burned. All their property was taken from them. Many gave their money to a Jew by the Name of Christopher Columbus and asked him to find a new home for the Jews. We all know the story of Christopher coming to America and it became a home for many Jews and America was founded on Godly principles

And there were significant things happening in the body of Christ (more on this later)
In the 1948 Israel is reborn as a nation! And something was set in motion lining up with the prophetic scriptures. In 1948 the signs in the heavens (blood moons) also lined up with the feasts of Israel. In 1948 there was also a huge revival in the body of Christ which started at the Sharon School of Ministry in Canada and went all over the world.
Again, three things happening in the same year

In 1967 Israel was attacked by their enemy. Israel being such a small young nation, their enemy being as big as it was, naturally thinking Israel should have been wiped out. But God did a miracle and Israel gained ground and got Jerusalem! A former Jihadist that I have personally met with, who in 1967 was an enemy to Israel, ran to his mama and said, why has Allah shifted sides and chosen to fight for Israel? So even they knew that this war was not a natural outcome but an intervention from God almighty! In 1967 the signs in the heavens also lined up again with the feasts of Israel. And in 1967 we had revival again in the church. The Jesus movement started through which many young people came to the Lord.
So again, three things happening the same year
Israel is attacked but gains ground

Revival in the church
So since 1967 that did not happen. But this year and next year it happens again! It starts this Passover. As far as NSA can look into the future (being hundreds of years), this will not happen again! This is a once in a life time for us to see what God will do this time. God said in Geneses 1 that the Sun, stars and the moon are for signs and seasons. God is telling us that something big is going to happen. These are sign for us to know that God is saying something to us. No, I am not saying the rapture is going to happen at Passover this year, but over the next two years we can expect some big things happening which are going to change the world as we know it today.
The first one actually appeared during Hanukkah. This feast is not mentioned in the bible but was started during the time between Malachi and Matthew. Jesus honored this feasts by going up to the temple during this feast.
So here is the punch line.
There were three feasts that Israel was commanded to celebrate each year, Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.
First, Jesus fulfilled the feast of Passover as He died and rose again during the feast of Passover.
Second, The Holy Spirit was poured out on the day which we normally think of as the day of Pentecost, which was also during the time of the feast of Pentecost.
Third, the feast of Tabernacles has not yet been fulfilled in the new covenant and now is the time! We are living in the most exciting times in history.
I know there are teachings out there that do not line up with the scriptures and calling this the red moon rapture, others focusing on the coming of the anti-Christ etc. But we are looking for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ which is one of the things we can expect to happen when this great feast of Tabernacles is going to be fulfilled.
