Vision for 2014
Hello everyone.
I pray for you out there in the cold and dangerous driving situations, you are all experiencing a real winter. While you have had it as low as 40 with the feeling of wind shield, we are experiencing heat mostly 34 and above. Two days ago it said on my phone that it was 36, real feel 43. What extremes from one side of the world to another.
I want to share with you the vision for year 2014.
We are continuing with evangelism, children and youth ministry etc. but what is new starting this year is 40 days at My Father’s House. It has been in our hearts for a long time but we believe that now is the time. The scriptures that the Lord kept putting on my heart for a couple of years were about preparing the way. I had a hard time understanding the meaning of this and how to go about it. Then there were the scriptures about the bride of Christ. Rev 19:7-8 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. NASU
Preparing the way… His bride has made herself ready…
Here at My Father’s House we pray and seek to impart deeper truths as we teach and preach the gospel of the kingdom of God. And the 40 days at My Father’s House is going to be for those who are hungry for the word of God, thirsty for the Spirit of God, to help them learn to walk… with God. There will be strong emphases on prayer and worship as well as the word, helping the individual to become all that he/she is created and destined for.
We have shared this vision at conferences and people are asking for details and say they are planning to be there. The people attending our conferences are from many different types of churches, many of them being leaders in their churches. If we can help one of them who then goes back to help their home church, that can have a great impact.
40 days at My Father’s House is to be an annual school starting this July through beginning of September.
Who will be teaching? Right now we have two people from the USA who have taught at Pine Crest Bible Training Center who are planning to come and help. Katharine and I will also be doing some of the teaching, and we believe the Lord will send others to come and help.
What do we need?
A kitchen and a dining hall (cost about $10,000)
Also a stove, fridge, freezer, tables and chairs etc. (cost?)
At least 2 dorms to host students (cost about $8,000 each)
Also beds (costs?)
These buildings are to be on My Father’s House property which belongs to Reddekopp Ministries, where My Father’s House, a guest house, a mission house and a shop for the farm equipment already exist.
The spiritual warfare this year has been heavy so we desperately covet your continued prayers. And would you prayerfully consider helping with the finances to get this school started?
We want to thank all of you who have been financially supporting this work of the Lord. We consider it an honor to be trusted with God’s resources through your giving, and we try to prayerfully use it with wisdom to the best of our ability. And we pray as Paul prayed. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; NASU
